Angie Avatichi is the Immediate Past President of the Cleveland Dental Hygienists’ Association (CDHA), having proudly served as President from 2021–2025. A graduate of Cuyahoga Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene, Angie has been a licensed dental hygienist for 30 years and a dedicated member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association for 32 years.
Throughout her career, Angie has held numerous leadership roles at every level of the professional association. At the national level, she has served on the ADHA Ethics Committee, Membership Committee, and the Speakers Panel, where she presented “Unleashing Your Potential” to encourage leadership growth. At the state level, Angie’s past service includes Chairing multiple ODHA councils and committees, serving as Delegate, holding the role of Vice President for two terms, and leading as State President in 2010.
At the component level, Angie has served as Past President of both the Lorain and Cleveland Dental Hygienists’ Associations, with her most recent term as Cleveland’s President spanning four years. Over the course of her career, she has received numerous state‑level awards recognizing her exceptional service and leadership.
Angie remains passionate about membership growth and advancing the dental hygiene profession. In addition to her leadership contributions, she continues to work as a practicing oral healthcare provider in private practice in Hudson. She resides in Brecksville with her husband, Uri, and enjoys traveling and spending time with their four children.
